Long Place Names

Today for the Summer Learning Journey I learnt about long place names,
I listened to a music video from a kiwi artist called Ra Costelle,
explored a different task from the summer learning journey,
looked at some slides about some places with long names,
and finally filled out the form about some other long place names.

I liked learning about some long place names,
but my favourite part was listening to the song.

    Manar here from the Summer Learning Journey Team. You have done an awesome job of researching all the different long place names around the world.
    The longest place name is the Hawkes Bay Town you mentioned. Do you know how to pronounce New Zealand’s longest place: Taumatawhakatangi­hangakoauauotamatea­turipukakapikimaunga­horonukupokaiwhen­uakitanatahu. It has 89 letters in it, did you know that? I can pronounce it, but very slowly and I absolutely canno’t say it very fast, are you up for the challenge?
